A strategic plan to outline the actions that will enable the Diocesan Museum of Tarragona to become a first-rate, renovated and unique heritage centre

The Archbishopric of Tarragona has commissioned Grup Transversal to draw up a strategic plan for the Diocesan Museum, the interpretation centre set up by the archdiocese in the cathedral complex and used as a venue for the study, management and dissemination of the tangible and intangible heritage of Christian culture in the city of Tarragona, from the time of the Roman Empire up to the present day.

Transversal has carried out this consultancy project focusing on a renovation of the Diocesan Museum that will enable it to live up to the incredibly important collection it holds. With this aim as a starting point, a proposal has been developed to determine the guidelines to be followed, in the medium and long term, in order to achieve this goal.

Grup Transversal has already implemented the first phase of the strategic plan, consisting of the renovation and rearrangement of the content exhibited in two of the Museum's rooms in order to enhance it and make the narrative more coherent.
