To live and breathe and life and work of Ramon Casas during a remarkable visit to the moderniste setting of Món Sant Benet

In 1907, the family of the moderniste painter Ramon Casas bought the monastery of Sant Benet de Bages and transformed it into a fitting summer residence.

A visit to this moderniste site takes us back to that time and allows us to get to know the rooms of the monastery which the Casas family designed to their own taste. This exhibition has a rich collection of furniture and objects of art. At the same time, the museography transports visitors back to the first day of summer in 1924 and constructs a story that, via projections, lights and sound, guides us throughout the visit. The museographic elements are inserted in surprising ways (on tables, in paintings that transform into audiovisuals...) among the typical places in a bourgeois family's home.

A good way to immerse yourself in the moderniste spirit and in the life and work of the gifted painter Ramon Casas.
