A contemporary and historical illustration of the religious, cultural and political situation of the Mediterranean

This exhibition forms part of a series of six exhibitions organised by the Maritime Museum, whose aim was to provide a historical view and also a future perspective of where the future of the Mediterranean is heading and should be heading, highlighting cultural, historical, ethnic and other features in order to improve mutual understanding.

In this case, an innovative exhibition was created on the three large civilisations of the Mediterranean, presenting a contemporary and historical illustration of the area's religious, cultural and political situation. With regard to design, this was contemporary while still related to the maritime tradition, using panels evoking the different shapes of sails.
