Management of MónNatura Pirineus

MónNatura Pirineus is a facility of the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, a unique place with remarkable resources, including a Bio-Climatic Building, a Fauna Centre and the Astronomical Observatory, located in a spectacular setting.

Transversal is responsible for completely running the centre, from the educational services to the restaurant and accommodation. 

Visitor services and bookings

Visitor services include:

•    Managing bookings and requests for information.
•    Tourist information and on-site assistance.
•    Managing the shop of nature-related products.

Educational services

The guided activities are created and managed, aimed at all kinds of people, from nature camps for school children to family activities designed to raise awareness of sustainable development and the conservation of nature and the countryside.
The most successful activities are those connected with the Pyrenean wildlife centre, as well as those related to astronomy, for which the centre has a planetarium and an observatory.

Management of the restaurant and accommodation services

The centre also offers complementary services with accommodation (94 places) and a restaurant service, also managed by Transversal.

Tourism marketing

The strategy to attract visitors is implemented by a team that's responsible for marketing all the facilities of the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera.
Both domestic and international tourists are the target, as well as implementing other commercial actions aimed at more specific groups of people, such as fans of nature, schools and families. All these groups have a specific marketing strategy to ensure each target is reached and the goals established are achieved.
