An attraction with a large number of lighting and sound effects and interactive elements... A world of tales with a magical guided route that's full of fantasy for the young.
Grup Transversal, in collaboration with the construction firm Voracys, was responsible for producing the museography for this renovated attraction as well as its dramatisation, audiovisuals and the creation of different interactive light and sound effects, among other elements. The project was conceived and created by Dani Freixa and Varis Architects.
A Castle of Tales is based on the emotional and cultural heritage of fairy and folk tales in a visit incorporating new technologies and audiovisual language. When visitors enter the castle they're welcomed by a ghost who explains the route to follow and helps them discover the locations of some of the most popular tales: Sleeping Beauty's tower, Aladdin, Peter Pan, Snow White, the Wizard of Oz and Hansel and Gretel, as well as many others.
Interactive devices, audiovisuals, holograms and pepper ghost effects are used to dramatise the different areas, creating a magical visit. Here visitors interact with ghosts, ogres and witches who help them with different trials and tests so that both the young and old can become Guardians of the Tales.
